Camp Moshava invites you and your family to join us in creating memories and traditions at Family Camp. In an inclusive, kibbutz-like atmosphere, celebrate Shabbat camp style - play gaga, hike, sing around the campfire, Israeli folk dance under the stars and relax by the pool. We include lodging, activities, great food, and of course, tons of camp FUN for the whole family. Tuition includes food, accommodations, t-shirt and all program cost. Scholarships available.
Private and shared cabins with singles and bunk beds. Tent camping - families will bring their own tents. We can provide mattresses if needed. Bath houses are located in close proximity to the cabins.
Family camp is for families with school age children and younger. Mosh is inclusive and welcoming to interfaith, LGBTQI, multi-racial and non-traditional kids and families.
Hebrew is a living language at Camp Moshava and is integrated into daily living. No Hebrew experience or knowledge is required to fully participate in any of our programs. Click HERE to find a list of commonly used Hebrew words at machaneh (camp).
Moshava staff will provide creative, inspiring and FUN programming for the whole family.
Families will arrive at camp Friday afternoon, get settled in and enjoy a swim in the pool. As the sun
begins to set, we will gather together to welcome the Shabbat. A festive Shabbat Dinner will be
followed by singing and Israeli folk dancing. Once the kids are in bed asleep, parents will have a
chance to socialize, get to know each other and have some fun! Our counselors and CITs will watch
Shabbat morning is filled with reflective, spiritual and fun activities for parents and kids. From our
unique Re-jew-vination to a variety of more serious chugim (interest groups), Saturday morning is a
time to connect with each other and the spirit of Shabbat through song, discussion, prayer,
meditation and games.
Families will be able to choose from a variety of activities Saturday afternoon ranging from arts and
crafts activities to a nature hike or a game of GaGa. Take a dip in the pool or enjoy some time on our
lake or river. After dinner, families, campers and staff will share their musical talents at Musicale, a
favorite time of week! There is nothing like Havdallah under the stars, roasting marshmallows and
singing folk songs around the camp fire.
At Moshava, Sunday is a Yom Ragil (regular day). We will gather in the morning around the flagpole
and after a delicious breakfast will work on some projects around camp. Then the counselors will run
informal education programs about social justice for parents and for kids. After lunch, we’ll have free
swim and other outdoor activities. And we will gather together around the flagpole one last time
before heading home Sunday afternoon.
